Ultrasound Pics

Here are pictures of our Little Girl!
{Yep, still a Girl! :-)}
Coral scanned me, again, and my first thought was that this little one looks just like Austin (see 3D pics below)... so I made Coral double check to make sure it's a girl. Yes!!!

Her profile

She already has hair, Coral pointed out. So, she might have a full head of hair by the time she is born in September. :-) We'll have to see.

I love this Picture!!!

You can see her cute profile. And look at those adorable lips!
Already a snuggle bug!
See those cheeks, I think she inherited those from Austin.
Things are going well this pregnancy. Nothing major to report... other than pure exhaustion, as anyone who has been pregnant can attest. It's been difficult to get heparin, almost every month, but somehow the Lord blesses us & we get it... just in time.
Love ya!

Finally... a quick update... on the past few months!

It's been a very busy past few months! This isn't even half of what's been going on around here... but it's a start. :-)

Ben & Sheri had their cute little girl in May...

Miley Ward

Reed & Shannon had their cute little girl in June...

Kaycee Anne Ward

I worked on several Craft Room Projects.

Austin tried to keep himself occupied with more exciting things...

Oatmeal... yummy!

Greg & Austin also got to play a lot... to pure exhaustion!

We all ate at our new FAVORITE place!
The Avocado House!!!
Talk about the best food ever!
It was so exciting to go there and realize that the owners actually catered our wedding, over 9 years ago. If you haven't been here yet, it's spectacular!

Not to mentioned, just plain adorable!!!

We have lots more updates... so check back soon!
(This post was actually started last month ~ wow I need to get on the ball.)

It's A GIRL!!!

Coral scanned me today!!!

She is 97% sure that we have a Little Girl growing in my belly. Our little one was very modest and sat "like a lady", as I was always taught... so she already knows how to behave. I won't publish her 'personal' pictures as proof, but here are a couple cute pics that Coral took.

You can see the head on the left, the spine and the legs curled up (toward the right).

Here's a 3D picture that Coral took. I cirlced her face. She is still young (almost 15 weeks) and so her features are not yet defined... but you can see her eyes and smile. Her chin is resting on her hand.

Yipee! We are so excited. Austin is getting excited about the "Bebe" too.

She'll be the 4th girl this year born into our families. Lots of Girl Cousins!!!

We love you, and hope all is well with you and your families!

Glamis ~ Day Trip

In between Vacations ~
Greg got to take the Baja Bug out to Glamis with Grant & Scott (a friend from Church).
They didn't take many pictures... obviously because they were having way too much fun.
Greg's favorite vehicle of ours (at the moment).
It's hard to see the color, but it's a beautiful maroon.

I'm glad they got to go and have fun... with only minor injuries. :-)

North Carolina, IRS & a Baby!

For those of you wondering how life has been treating us...
here's an update, only 2 months in the making. :-)

We've been incredibly busy
and incredibly blessed. Vacations to see family and friends have been plenty ~ and we haven't even made it to the summer yet.

Grammy & Grampy got to come with Greg, Austin & I to Auntie Georgia & Uncle Norman's home in NC. It was soooo much fun! We got to hang out with lots of our wonderful cousins too.

The Beautiful Beach House ~ Resort we stayed at.

Only a hop skip and a jump away from the water.

Thank you Auntie GA & Uncle Norman!!!

Hyla, Shawn, Emma & Auntie GA

Lorna & Josie

Catherine is holding Austin... he's almost as big as she is. Soo cute!

Hyla ~ the hostest with the mostest, as always, preparing goodies for our S'mores. Yum!

In honor of Shawn and his "LOVE" of Peeps!

It was a crack up to hear that the family has been giving him Peeps for every occasion these past few years and it turns out he does not like them at all! He's just too kind. So we had a Peep Roast. Talk about the funniest S'mores we've ever had!

Peeps & Reeses Peanut Butter Cups... now that's an interesting combo.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
An Elegant Dinner with everyone!
Thanks again Uncle Norman!!!
Auntie GA, Uncle Norman, Hyla, Shawn, Nelle, Catherine & Emma
Craig, Josie (Joseph), Lorna, Steve, Claudia, Raela & Austin
Raela, Austin & Greg
Austin got a really cute Water Mug from Grammy & Grampy.
He loves it and takes it everywhere. Greg taught him to open it himself the first day. :-)
Austin & Mommy
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Greg doesn't like to sit around... ever. Even if he is on Vacation.

So he stayed busy doing anything he could think of ~

Austin loves watching his daddy work. Of course he would've prefered being out there with him. ....Someday he'll be sure to get his chance...

The gate that now closes and is no longer warped... just needs a little paint.

Auntie GA was soooo appreciative of everything Greg fixed.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Happy Anniversary!
We've now been married 9 years! Time sure flies when you're having fun. It seems like we were just married, and at the same time it feels like we've been together forever. :-) It's so wonderful to have found such a perfect match.
Our Anniversary Cake
Actually we didn't buy this one, but it was the prettiest. So we had to get a picture. We went for the Rich Chocolate cake. :-)
Austin enjoying Cora Lee (or was it the other way around).
Hyla watches this adorable little girl and it was so cute to see her be so affectionate with Austin. Someday he won't mind so much. But I'm glad we have a little time.
We went to Downtown Wilmington & it was gorgeous!
Austin & Daddy
Mommy, Daddy & Austin in front of the "Peacemaker" Yacht.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

We got lots of yummy food here too!

Austin's first trip to the BEACH!!!

and his first trip on the beach...

Austin & Mommy

Cute little & big feet!

What a day!

Nelle, Emma & Catherine

Hyla & the girls

Cora Lee got to come too! Yeah!

Grammy & Grampy

running on the beach!

What a beautiful sight!

You won't see an empty beach like this on the west coast.

Grammy & Grampy

Austin LOVED Pixie

He followed her everywhere and couldn't get enough of her. Now he calls every animal a "Goggy" (or Doggy).

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Flights...
Austin entertained at every airport. He got more smiles from people than I've ever seen. Usually people keep to themselves... but not with Austin around.
This was a really neat Lego Table. What a great idea... and in an Airport, no less.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Stake SweetHeart Dinner & Dance

...remember those Pink & Brown invites I made? It turned out to be a huge success with the number of people that attended almost doubled from previous years. :-)

We actually had a night on the town! Greg even asked me to dance a few times. Wahoo!

Our Dinner Table Friends

(I also got to design the napkin rings and chinese box decorations.)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Austin's First Park Experience
... with Mommy & Daddy, anyway
(Auntie Coral took him a couple of times and said he just stood in the sand and let it fall through his fingers.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Time for another haircut.

Thanks again Lynette!

You do a fantastic job!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That's all folks!
Actually we've done much more, but I have to download my pics... so, until next time.
***I don't have any pictures of all of our IRS Documentation ~ but maybe this explains the lapse in Blog updates. I never thought we'd be Audited, at least not until we were 60 years old... but apparently the fact we bought a monstrous home that costs way too much alerted the IRS. Who knows? But we will prevail. :-)
***By the way I'm now almost 15 weeks pregnant! YIPEE!!! Everything is going smoothly so far. Yes, I do have to do the shots 2x a day... but it's all worth it!! Just look at the cute guy we've been blessed with so far.
We also go to go to General Conference this year! Wow! That was amazing!! Our next update will have all of the info & pics. Hopefully it won't take me 2 months to update. :-)
Invitations Galore!!
So, this is what I've been doing the past 24 hours or so.
INVITATIONS!
Yes, it is my favorite past time... other than playing with Austin (and Greg). I love designing cute things. This one is for a Sweet Heart Dinner & Dance that we're having with our Stake (those that aren't LDS, that means basically the County in which we live). We are so blessed to have such great people that we work with in church. Although my calling is Primary 1st Counselor... it's fun to serve in other capacities too!
The lighting isn't perfect in the picture, so the brown edge doesn't look like it matches the ribbon completely... but it does in person. :-)
I've been a PRINTING and CUTTING machine. Especially since I'm doing 300 Invites ~ Wow! It feels like a Wedding Invite Bonanza. (Actually I often do more than 300 for Weddings... but you get the idea). Luckily I won't put everything together by myself, I'll have help. :-)
**************************
Austin is napping right now so I have time to update the blog too. :-) In fact, that's how I updated with our trip, so quickly. Since I'm at the computer printing... I might as well get more done!
Love ya!
Vacation... Already?...
Can you believe that the year just started and we already got to have a mini-vacation?
Actually it was more for 'business' or at least dropping off one car for Cameron & Julia (We soooo wish we could've driven to Wyoming too. I really really really wanted to meet little Natalia. Thank you Cameron for picking up the car in Utah. Julia we miss you!!!) and then we picked up another car from Kimberly & Michael in Idaho. Originally Greg was going to go by himself... but what fun would that be? So Austin & I tagged along.
(Disclaimer: We apologize to our wonderful family & friends whom we didn't even call to say we would be in town. It was literally a weekend trip and we just had about 1 day in each State. Next time we'll have to plan better... or take more time off.)
Yes, that's the moon. Way cool!
(It looked HUGE, but the picture seems to dwarf it.)
Another great pic of the Moon. We were amazed!
Greg was so excited to actually see a Speed Limit sign with "80" on it! He pulled over to make sure we got proof that it existed.
Naja & Kyle were just wonderful! We showed up soooo late (2 a.m., I think) and we had warm cozy beds ready to sleep in. Thank you for sharing Avry! Then Naja had every wonderfully prepared meal we could imagine. What a hostest with the mostest!
Lil' Kurt had a talking sandwhich.
(You can see all of the great work Naja did with those beautiful platters... YUM!)
Avry's friend Poem had invited her to come over and make cupcakes. Since we were there (and other cousins were coming) Avry didn't go. Poem brought over the cutest cupcakes I've ever seen!
Cupcake Close-Up
Austin had fun playing with Lil' Reed.
Naja made sure that Austin had plenty of toys. She must've run up & down the stairs of the basement 500 times, just for Austin alone. Now I know how she keeps her amazing figure.
More fun Cousins came to hang out with us. We sure appreciate them all! They had less than 24 hour notice and they still made it! In fact Kurt was able to work a half shift so that he could spend time with us. What a great guy!
(Here's almost everyone and not really in any order Dirk & Beth... Ryker was in the carseat so he's not pictured; Kurt, Vincent, Bridgette, Marta, Tyron, Larissa and Larissa's sister Lizzy (I think); Kyle & Naja and Avry! The boys were all sleeping by the time we finished up.)
Here's the AMAZING view that we woke up to! Wow!
Greg's parents were kind enough to lend us their van so we could tow the cars. Greg got a Boat Trailer for a good deal, then he & his dad turned it into a Car Trailer. I didn't think it was possible... the blessings of marrying such an intelligent guy (and his Engineer Dad)!
Bye, Bye! We'll miss you!
Come visit us sooon!!
On the road again.
Another amazing family!
(Christopher, Johnathan, Joshua (also in white), Benjamin, Jessica (in purple) then the cute twins in matching outfits Natalie & Tiffany. What a great looking group of children. Oh, and Austin is on the bottom step too (in red).
Natalie, Austin & Jessica.
This picture is priceless.
Yes his finger is up his nose...
blackmail picture for sure when he's older.
Sad to leave wonderful family... again.
Jessica was so sweet, she was bawling when we left.
(Johnathan, Michael, Jessica, Christopher & Benjamin)
Wow, this was the view leaving Kimberly & Michael's home.
Stunning!
We decided to break up the drive home, since Austin wasn't sooo thrilled about the long drive. Actually he did very well...
We stayed at a Motel 6 that was very comfy.
The view across the street.
It was a really cool cemetary with lots of headstones.
Greg's new pride & joy!
This is the Baja Bug that we bought from Kimberly & Michael. It's beautiful... don't let the frost on it mislead you (it was FREEEEEEEZING!). Michael did such a great job of making sure everything looked perfect. We'll have to get a better picture of it, now that we're home.
More beautiful views for the drive.
Austin had a lot of fun, most of the time. He's our little Giggle Guy.
Some of you might remember my Camp Name (yes, "Giggles") you probably know where he got that from.
Family Photo
(Austin is blowing a kiss)
Back to Cali!
Wouldn't you know that as soon as we crossed the Cali border there was good ol' road work going on. They were fixing earthquake cracks I think. Now why didn't we see those in the other states? Do earthquakes know that they are only allowed to happen here? Hmmmm....
We hope you enjoyed our little mini Vacation. Thank you to our wonderful families for making everything so relaxing and peaceful for us. It was a quick trip, but a much enjoyed vacation.
Ahhh, now that's a sunset!
Once he has someone's hands, he loves to sit up, then stand... what happened to the crawling stage? We better show him how it's done. :-)
